The house is located in a private setting surrounded by hundred year old olive and oak trees and untouched nature. The area consists of eight houses in the northwest of Island Pag, twenty meters from the sea with views of the islands Cres and Losinj. The historic town of Zadar, Paklenica and Kornati National Parks, and Zadar airport are only an hour drive away.
Our house is completely integrated with nature and energy self-sufficient. Solar panels and a wind mill supply electricity due plenty of sun and a comfortable mistral wind.
Every drop of rain is collected in a 27,000 liter water reservoir. Nature provides all of the energy and water you need to enjoy a comfortable stay.
The house is 49m2 and the garden is 250m2. Two bedrooms, one king size bed with a view of the sea and the second that can sleep three with a view of the garden. Both rooms have closets. Living room and kitchen are open concept with the bathroom with a shower off the hallway. Finally, there is a huge covered patio with a beautiful view of the sea.
Wi-Fi, three bicycles, a dock for a boat, and two parking spots are complementary.
House amenities also include a refrigerator with freezer, TV, radio, electric hot water heater, gas grill and outdoor shower. In the winter, the house is heated with a wood burning stove. The house is only 20 meters from the sea and 120 meters from a sand beach. Novalja is 13 km away (doctor, shopping, restaurants) and Jakisnica is only a 20 minute walk or 2 km away (stores, bakeries, restaurants). Zadar, Paklenica and Kornati National Parks, and Zadar airport are only an hour drive away.

Cyclists can enjoy the beautiful surroundings through the 115 km long cycling trails. There is a long tradition of cycling on Island Pag and many cyclists return to enjoy the beautiful island scenery. If you like hiking and climbing, only an hour away from the house is the beautiful Paklenica National Park. Park hours and further information can be found at www.np-paklenica.hr
You can swim in the crystal clear sea only 20 meters from the terrace or at the beautiful Melnica beach just two minutes walk next to the water. The west side of the island is all natural with great snorkeling and underwater photography. At Melnica beach there is a boat ramp for small boats. Row your kayak and discover beautiful secluded beaches.
Olives (Olea europaea), due to its hardiness it symbolizes strength and is the oldest resident of Lun, mentioned in the Bible as the symbol of God’s providence.
Lemon (Citrus x limon) a tree from the citrus family. A small evergreen fruit tree ranging from 3 to 6 meters in height. New leaves and flowers are purple color. Our lemons are great for lemonade or for seasoning seafood!
Pomegranate, (Punica granatum) a tree in our yard that looks nice with flowers and fruit with amazing nutritional values.
Feijoa (Acca sellowiana), a small evergreen tree with a sweet and juicy green fruit.
Strawberry Tree (lat. Arbutus unedo), a small tree with red fruits that resemble strawberries. The fruit can be picked in November and December.
Rosemary (Rosmarinus Officinalis) an evergreen plant used throughout the centuries as a spice.
Basil (ocimum basilicum) a staple of Mediterranean cooking.
Chives (Allium schoenoprasum) a type of aromatic onion, which is a great addition to soups and salads.
Lavander (lavandula) an aromatic bush, which is a staple of all gardens with beautiful and aromatic flowers.

Yoga - obviously, around our house you can find plenty of places to meditate, practice yoga and rest your mind and spirit.

Pag is one of the largest Adriatic islands with 285 km2 and 270 km of shoreline. The island has the longest coastline in the Adriatic with a lot of bays, beaches…. Pag has unique vegetation and olive trees older than a thousand years.

Lun’s olive orchard
Located 5 km from the house, the workers will walk you through the orchard with trees more than a thousand years old. Lun’s olive trees are the result of generations of hard work. It is a heritage that we are proud of and would like to pass on to our children. Follow the link for more information www.vlm.com.hr
Stone walls - Made out of stacked rocks they are part of the history of the island and represent life on the island. They separate the sheep pastures and are strong enough to resist a strong wind. Island Pag has more of these walls than any other island in Croatia.
History and culture
Pag has a lot to offer.
Pag Lace - It is a unique craft by the women from the town of Pag, dating from the beginning of the 15th century. They originated as part of the clothing women wore to church and you can see them being made on the streets of Pag today.
Duke’s Court - From the 15th century, it is located on the main square on the town of Pag. It was the townhall and seat of government for the island. On the grounds is a well with the crest of the Duke of Pag from 1467.
Tower Skrivanat - The remaining tower of nine that protected the town of Pag was built in the 15th century.
St. Francis Church - Located in northern part of the town, it was built from the second half of the 15th century to the second half of the 16th century.
Food and Fun
Everything in one spot.
Just a couple of kilometers from the house, in the northwest portion of the island is a thousand year old olive tree orchard in which lies the towns of Jakisnica, Dudici, Lun and Tovernele. Here you will find good restaurants to taste Pag’s cheese, lamb, sea food, prosciutto and homemade wine. You can reach those locations by foot, bicycle, car, or boat.
You can go to Novalja for restaurants and night life. Several kilometers from Novalja is the beach Zrce, famous for its 24 hour clubs. Novalje has a big selection of stores and restaurants.
The crystal clear water of the Adriatic is well known.
You will be convinced after swimming in the nearby Melnica cove.
